IIRC th Marlin used S&W 59 series magazines.
The bad parts.
Typical Marlin Model 60 trigger and all that goes with it.

Whats up guys, I have an old marlin m60 that just sits around in the safe. figured ild do something with it and change it up a bit but I cant find any place with aftermarket stocks for this rifle or anything for this model. Anyone else in here have this...

Then a much more accurate estimate can be given.
The standard Model 1894 had a 24 inch barrel, so this is a special length barrel that will add.

Are old Marlin 60 .22's = to new Marlin 60's?
I'm considering buying one. Afew friends have had them and they have all shot superb. I'm curious if the new builds are as good as the old. I noticed right off that my friends' older ones hold 17+1 I think...

Those old marlin 995's were a nice carbine I prefer my old model glenfield 60 to my to go.
Marlin did go to laminate stocks on their base model for a while get it working...
Came out a couple of years ago.

Picked up a Marlin 60SS a month back or so and the gun is in fair shape. Rear and front sights had rust on them ans the TG is missing one screw and is cracked. The stock is a grey laminated type and has some dings and dents in it. Can it be sanded down...

All Marlin products (and especially so for the lever guns) have suffered quality that was caused by short stroking the....
I don't know what a classic Marlin jam would be but my 39, after many hundreds of rounds without to full-stop jamming.

I have a line on an old Marlin Model 28 police gun. I have read that Marlin does not recommend firing these. I am not looking for a bird or trap gun, but I would like to put a few shells through her. Are these ok to fire?

The model 28 was made from 1913 - 1922, with the TS(Trap Special ) only made from 1913.
I have read one site that states that Marlin does not recommed firing of any of their old pump is a Model 28 TS.

Model 90's without a letter prefix in the serial number were made between 1937 and 1941.
