Use any other Spartan if you prefer.
The Chief(preferred Spartan)is armour-less and The Captain doesn't have his shield or suit (I believe the suit aids him in someway, correct me if wrong)

For me this is hard, I tend to think chief has superior armor, but Iron Man can fly and shoot concentrated energy beams. so to me this would be a good fight and I can not pick a winner.

Theory:
At the end of Reach you see that Noble 6 is about to get stabbed in the face but you couldn't tell if he got stabbed or not.
What really happend is that he dodged and kicked the elite in the face, he took his energy sword and started to kill all...
