Our lesson on math is about Expansion in algebra. He gave an example of (x-3)(x-3) and I answered
x^2 -6x +9 but his answer was x^2 + 9 and no one even complained ...

What are number lines used for? My daughter has bought home maths homework involving 3 figure subtractions. And shes been told to use number lines to show how she got the answers.
Shes struggling not with the answers but with showing how she worked it...
