Hello I'm a future math teacher and I was wondering if the use of songs in teaching math will help the students to learn the concepts better? Will they really have a grasp on the concepts or is it just pure memorization?

(Of course, you could use music to teach fractions math is very abstract for most people....
Just my opinion, memorization doesn't teach anyone anything.
Problems is a very powerful tool that will serve them well in their study of math.
