I've never considered painting any vehicle in a matte finish paint, but saw a Jeep the other day I really like - in matte. Soooo, here's my question:
Since you obviously can't wax a matte finish, how much shorter is the paint job's lifespan...

Matt Its an additive for paint called a flatenerBy matte, I assume you mean flat with the mention of not being able to wax it.

No one would spend the money to paint it like this when wrapping is half the cost.
This may be a stupid question but do you look after matte finish paint the same of a repair.

The main difference between a matte surface just had a thought: painting over it with a brush in Color mode won't work if the car is reflecting right.
paint over it with a black brush set to Color mode.
