Is this a thing? Do Mature Students ever live on campus - I'm thinking for some of the bigger universities (UL, DCU, etc.)? I'm not talking about moving in with the 1st years, but it would be really handy for me (28 and commuting back home every weekend...

Best thing to do would be to call the Mature Students officer in the relevant college or the post grad office.

But some areas require you to pay upfront.
You may also be able to use either HECS or FEE-HELP for your degree .
You may be eligible for Austudy, but it isn't very much .

Correct(ish) Every grant authority or VEC has that you have been approved... .
Mature student and under 23 is the same grant.
