I am not Japanese or Korean, but lived in Korea for 3 years and Japan for 2 years. This is what I observed of the two countries. I love all Asian cultures.
South Korea has better restaurants. Excellent deals. Japan is a rip off. Prepare to go bankrupt...

I would like to race over there this year. I figure that hte current snowboard sales in Korea- along with a strong footwear industry should make for decent slalom grounds.
