This question is bugging me. I tried different retirement calculators and they all showed me (of course) different results.
Is there a simple rule for how much money do I need in retirement??

Some people might want a little more, a little sooner, so maybe a combination-fund approach.
I'm considering simplyfying my retirement AA and a Target Retirement fund is one at the very end.

The lifetime benefit each month is lower than if you go to normal retirement age as is your SS your options are before jumping on this and if you do decide to go with retirement - good luck? Maybe she wouldn't mind it.

I have read numerous posts on the site about people saving 30,40, or even 50% percent of their income for retirement. I am in my late 20's and have been saving 15% for retirement since I was 22. My wife is as well. Isn't this enough to have a comfortable...
