Hi,
I'm planning on purchasing a cobb tip. Right now my car has a cp-e cai and a forge bpv v2. I'm planning on getting a cobb tip and then accessport.
My big question is: will mazda void my warranty if they see the cobb tip? I'm gonna remove the forge...

Well to warranty the engine.
If Mazda can prove that the aftermarket part is the root I would change certain things back to stock parts when bringing car in for warranty work etc.
The Forge is pretty stealth in itself.

Today I received a letter from Mazda saying they are extending warranty service to owners of Mazdas with the L3T (2.3 Turbo) engine to 7 years or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first.
The coverage is for two conditions:
1. VVT actuator and/or timing chain...

Doesn't just warranty all MS6's with this problem with a recall, it was obviously a problem from the factory, not a user error.

Anyone in Canada get this letter? Just curious, 'cause it probably doesn't matter (warranty should be the same in NA). I don't have the symptoms yet, but I'm watching it closely.

"oh well ummm we found some sludge and mazda wont cover the repair, you owe use.
If there is any sludge build up - Mazda on wont cover the repair the fact they say....
And check for sludge.

Mazda rejected my VVT repair because I have >70k miles liked and never needed a repair in 105k miles.
