How good are car paint sealants?

I plan on doing a full wash on my car and using something to protect it at the end of my wash. However, couple of people I have talked to told me most wax and sealants work in warmer temperatures and not sure about applying it in colder weather. So what...

As in, wash, clay polish, lay on sealant, go eat immediately? Can it be used ....
Just leave it on longer so it has more time to bond .
Think it's okay to just probably do a wash in the winter and forget about the sealant and wax for now it.

Good choice for long high performance sealants, but there....
Honestly, Klasse is a bit dated in the industry.

So im planning my next wash and ive never waxed my car before only ever used quick finish products.
Now im not sure which wax to buy or whether or not to use a sealant type product like Gtechniq.
I plan to rinse the car, snow foam using megs hyperwash...

C2 Liquid Crystal Sealant QD C2 Liquid Crystal Sealant & QD, drying, claying, paint preparation, waxes/sealants and when to use each etc.
I'd suggest C2 or Colli476.

screwfix the named sealants are in excess of £4.50 each. They do sell a
"No Nonsense" acrylic sealer...

They also sell the cheapo Thompson a sealant that had a grit or something to aid grip.
