Is it allowed to use mechanical pencils in SAT and AP Exam? Do they provide pencils?

Be easier with a regular....
I'm sure that there is a type of mechanical pencil they would allow, but I would bring a few standard number two pencils just to be safe.
Experience I heard that they have to be number two pencils.

I take those over regular pencils because, and all you have to do with a mechanical pencil is push the top or the side buy one, yeah, and I've gotten offered....

Do you have a habit of losing pens or pencils? I often buy packs of them and typically am down to only one pen rather quickly since I misplace them. Don't use pencils much, so usually have those handy. I prefer writing with pens. You? Thoughts.
