I got a blast cabinet a couple months ago and realized the other day that instead of scrubbing carbon off the tops of pistons in my parts washer I can probably just blast them. Currently I have 20/40 which is very abrasive. Can anyone recommend what blasting...

media blasting I've not tried it, but I'm told to media blast the seam sealer off, it will not get into the seams well enough and you will still have weld contamination.
Is that it sucks and the welds don't lay down well .

IF this is an original Remington action, I would be afraid of converting it to a cartridge having the breech pressure of a .30-06 as they were not designed for this type of pressures .

I am sending my tub and frame off to the media blisters on Monday. Since I am rebuilding my 9", I' thinking about send it along with the other parts to get blasted. I have it stripped down to the bare housing. Is this recommended or any things I need ...
