I'm looking for a local media blasting shop in the TriCities. Any ideas?

I have three or four different ceramic inserts for my blast cabinet with different NOT blast engine parts....

media blasting I've not tried it, but I'm told to media blast the seam sealer off, it will not get into the seams well enough and you will still have weld contamination.
Is that it sucks and the welds don't lay down well .

Al If you are looking for a decent rolling block action try simpsons... .
IF this is an original Remington action, I would be afraid of converting it to a cartridge having the breech pressure of a .30-06 as they were not designed for this type of pressures .

Also, this is a good time.
Make sure you clean all the media out from the inside of the housing.
