What medical/lab records do you keep a personal copy of? My husband's GP recommended we get film copies of all XRays and CTs, because not all offices are able to utilize disks. I've had luck with getting film copies of Xrays, CTs, and getting paper copies...

There should be no valid reason for an employer to request an employee's medical record in Canada for current employees.
Your medical records are private and doctors cannot give them out without your consent.
