So I have played a lot of Mass Effect, Fallout, STALKER, Deus Ex etc, and was looking to get into the medieval aspect of RPG gaming with stuff like Skyrim, Witcher etc. What are you guys' top recommendation in this area and which is your favorite medieval...

How do you strategise a fighting tactic, or battle plan? How would it have been done in the medieval ages?
