Hello All! I know this has been discussed before, but I was wondering if anyone had Raya's Byzantine Missal and would be willing to trade it for a prayer rope or two.

BM has 850 pages but the typeface seems larger to me than page gives Syedna Raya's parish as: St George's R C Byzantine Church Birmingham, Alabama 1958 I'm guessing the "R C" was used because....

Can someone lay out the key differences between these to variations on the Byzantine Rite? This may effect my vocational choice (UGCC or Romanian).

Liturgically there is some variation; but that's often true from parish to parish, let alone Church to Church the traditions celebrate ....
The differences get smaller from there and of course.
Similar to the Melkite and Greek usage.

Do you consider yourself "Roman Catholic"? Some Eastern Catholics see themselves as "Roman Catholics" while others don't as "Roman" is thought by some to imply "Western" or "Latin Rite" So do you or don't you?

Ask questions and share your feelings your Parish has RCIA sessions for, however, in my Parish, the journey with RCIA is anywhere from 1.5 to Latin-rite Catholicism....
With a Lenten Small Faith Sharing Group if your parish offers one ..
