It's no question who's the best player today it's hands down LeBron but I think they were pretty close their rookie seasons. Actually I felt Melo had a better rookie season and probably deserved ROY more than LeBron. Statistically...

I know hes perceived as a great defender, and while hes still as crafty as they come when it comes to TEAM defense, in 1 on 1 situations I just dont see the same guy anymore.
