It's working for me, if I go and view a message that I gave Kudos to, the Kudos icon shows me that I gave Kudos....
Next to a message / idea and see who gave that message / idea Kudos was fixed last night though.

In the past you could right click on the number in the kudos box and pick an option to see who gave the kudos. I know the sweet spot for doing this was kind of small and not quite where you might expect it to be.

It works exactly as you said and it's not subject to time that this inconvenience doesn'... .
The message options (top right) has a "revoke Kudos" option that will let you fix your mistake err really looked at the message options menu.
