Why do people think folk metal is metal? It's a bastardized hybrid of traditional folk music and metal, not...? not real metal.

Okay, it's obvious that near everybody here loves metal music. I used to in my teenage years but grew out of it about four years ago. I now just listen to it if I'm angry or looking back on memories.
