Bought an external octopus skimmer and need to drill through the side of my sump but i realized the tubing is metric and wont fit a 1.5" bulkhead. Im fine with using a uniseal if it will work. Anyone done this? Any other solutions?

I'm looking at running 316 stainless for my tubing, and I wondered if 3/8" tubing will work in 10mm pushfits, or if I have to expand the ends or swage then down. If I could find 10mm steel that wasn't 2mm wall thickness, I'd just use it, but metric sizes...

Later I found out it's a pretty common equation that some people use when bending tube.
So I came up with an equation to help me bend tube.
More on that later...
