Sometimes I have a crave for a nice farmhouse "breakfast" in the evenings, instead of the normal light meal.

Hi All,
I always thought Turkey Bacon was so much better "point-wise" than regular bacon...but, now I am not sure!?!?!
I just checked my labels and 1 piece of turkey bacon is 35 calories but, 3 slices of regular bacon is 70 calories.

Center cut bacon is actually less pointy for 3 slices and tastes way better....

If I made cheese and bacon scrolls, should I cook the bacon of heat it up first? 20 minutes on 200*c, should I at least heat up the bacon in the microwave first and then it will cook in the oven?

So...I'm pretty new at this, and I tried to make this microwave cheese sauce by substituting Bob's All Purpose Flour, uh, really did not work. Any advice? I want a quick cheese sauce that I can melt in the microwave.

Is it possible to get one in this town, preferably with a decent mug of tea? Our caffs seem incapable of toasting both sides of bread, cooking bacon without a microwave or giving you a hot, brewed pot.

My favorite way to cook bacon is in the oven, on a cookie sheet with a little grate on it. Can do a whole package at once, that may be why its my favorite. Downside is it takes a long time.
