I know this might sound like a very detailed question, but what is the difference between the Mikado and Maiko restuarants? I know Mikado has the show table...but Maiko has good food from what I've heard? What's the range of food there? Sorry for being...

Maiko has no show table, but serves great Japanese food a la carte .
In that section , the mikado restaurant is the Japanese tapanyaki restaurant based in the coba section , you can there, but can't comment on Mikado.

We also ate at Arlequin, Le Gourmet, Frutos Del Mar, Dolce Vita, Mikado, Gran Tortuga.

We booked this trip based on TA reviews, exclusive access to GBP Complex, Apple Pricing and Apple Rating, as well as, location (close proximity to Tulum ). First time staying NON Beachside. Thought we would try it considering the upscale vibe this place...

From what I have heard Kaan), Gran Tortuga (Tulum), Mikado show table (Coba), Arlequin ( Akumal ), and Maiko (Sian Kaan has their own opinion, but....
Gran Tortuga and Don Pablo in the Tulum resort, and the Mikado in the Coba.
