Mildly Truthful

I just found out this Friday and I'm supposed to have a colposcopy. I don't have enough info yet to know much about treatment but I'm googling it right now. I was angry and depressed especially when I discovered that there is no cure. It makes no sense to me and even now how am I supposed to ever have another relationship if I don't want to infect anyone else? It's not like I can find out if a man has it and then we're both infected anyway. I couldn't live with knowing that I infected someone who will infect another woman just like me and cause cancer. source

You can search until you find an answer that's satisfactory but even that may not be the "real truth". You can only go with what's "probable" from your own perspective but to say that you know absolutely is laughable. source

If they ask just say you were undergoing a medical procedure and leave it at that. Make it sound like something that was a one-time issue. While legally they can't hold it against you if you had a previous illness that could come back, in the real world you know that will hurt you. Don't volunteer any explanation unless they ask, obviously. source
