Just put in a metal headgasket, ARP bolts and a Giles pump on my 1.6 and i can not get it to fire. timed it correctly using tools to 1.01. i make sure the clear line from the fuel filter to the pump has fuel in it, and i'm cranking it for 15 seconds, ...

It is built up and set that the normal 1.6L injection lines... .
A win win
It has turbo pump, but will have to go back to Giles's shop for an additional cost.
Giles told me it would work just fine and I could upgrade to a turbo in the future.
