I just found out my 04 v1000 has a bad alternator. It has 9000 miles still runs excellent. As long as i jump it.
Dealer maintained. NO NY MILES. Ridden in canada, main and michigan. Still has oringinal belt and carbides...

Posted 11 February that drives the alternator fails.
Either way, if the machine is in good shape, I think it's worth fixing.

03 Dmax 290k miles. Is it worth my time? This a local truck with 466000 KM / 290000 miles. I'm going to look at it this week. Is the truck worth a guys time, or what.

Ok so i have a 2000 chevy s10,pewter color, ext cab, 4cyl, manual, base model, excellent condition, clean title. only has 39k original miles. all stock.
just trying to get an idea of what a fair market price would be to list it at? i know its worth only...

I would say 6500 or so isn't that was interested in a S10 had more then that to spend?,lol .
Not sure though being a 2.2, although that is really low miles.

I have a fully stock 97 eclipse RS with 135k miles on it. besides 2 tires, paint, and the check engine light will come on and off every other week. and i also think its burning but not sure yet. what i was REALLY wondering was if the engine is worth dumping...

Firehawks are badass! ALWAYS wanted one in a manual flavor .
At 7k miles that had 45k miles on it for $14 last October.
I agree i'd say around 20k would be normal.
Interior alone makes it not worth it.

I haven't looked at it, just saw on Craig's List. And no it's not triple black. I think the guy is asking way too much, but SoCal cars bring a lot of money very seldom will find one with rust.

That old of a car with so few miles hopefully the seals aren't all dried out etc.
It is definitely worth it if it really has original 12K.

To me it wouldn't be worth the hassle but it might be to you.
Unless you bought 5-6 houses worth at one time they only saved an average of $2-$400.

Even the stock 18" GT wheel was almost $500-list price(ripoff price) .
Just be glad it's not a GXP wheel....something like $1200 each last I checked I did look, quickly at what an OEM GXP wheel would be from gmpartsdirect and it was a lot .
