They are labelled as "military equipment" instead of as..well dogs. They are trained to sniff out bombs and people hiding, then are put down because it is a massive financial/beaurocratic hassle to bring one home/adopt one. http://now.msn.com/living/0...

I highly doubt a military dog has dog and not a ....
And 99% of the military dogs never see any actual violence in the wars the US has fought lately, they're all mostly sniffers for roadside bombs, not powerful breeds.

My heart goes out to these dogs.
He does not have any PTSD, which I am very thankful for .
