NICU Needs more of my milk but my supply had been low, I'm sure it's because of the NICU stress...but I need to increase my milk supply ASAP! I can't let them feed my babies formula..please help!!
Any tips and tricks?please help

I pumped! I spent the night in the NICU and it set me back, I forgot my pump so I didn't supply any milk in the fridge and go back....
In the beginning is good...

The last two days my milk supply has really diminished. I was pumping 12 oz in the morning, followed by 10 more at work. Now I am lucky to get 6 in the morning and 6.5-8 at work. I am not sure why it has happened, but it could be because I forgot my pump...

Have you had your period yet? Because I thought I had noticed my supply suddenly tank in the last supply can lower right before you get your period back (because of hormones), but that it will go back up.

I thought I'd start a new thread, where we could all put down our tips for helping all you new mums with feeding and supply.. A few of us on here have had some real problems in the past with feeding, but sorted it out one way or another. Lots of us seem...

But if baby wants to feed do for your milk supply is to stop the top ups and go to bed with your baby for a day or two.
What happens, usually within 24 - 48 hrs milk supply will have increased..

Thank you ladies for your advice! I have increased my water and caloric intake. I am drinking water all the time.
Over this past weekend I got in some extra rest.
I am going to pump while at the NICU and increase my pumping through out the day...

Otherwise, once baby is able to nurse just nurse baby lots (thats the easiest way to up your supply)!!! Good Luck (oh also try the breastfeeding group here, for example) and get fenugreek capsules....
Mother's Milk Tea, or steal cut oatmeal.

Sophie was 10lbs 5 two weeks ago, she was weighed Thursday and is still 10lbs 5?!
I thought I had a good supply but yesterday and today she's been TOTALLY unsatisfied with what I can offer, she will have a max of 4 minutes...

There won't be as much milk for her then you will top up and she won't tell your body to make more milk a growth spurt now, also she is more effective at getting milk now her tongue is fixed But she screams because of waiting for....

How to get you milk supply back? I was unable to breastfeed for the last three weeks and am now afraid my milk has dryed up does anybody know how to get it flowing again?

Have any of you ladies noticed low milk supply around the time you are ovulating?? I know when I'm on my period its low, But just the other day my milk supply was low and I realized I'm ovulating. Do you thk that has anythg to do with low milk supply?...

How do I increase breast milk supply? My right breast seems to produce more than my left, but supply seems low.
