Im pregnant with my second child (almost 20 weeks) and I really want to increase my milk supply for this baby. With my first....my milk didn't come in until 4 days after he was born...I didn't know what I was doing and I wasn't pumping or nursing often...

I usually BF on one breast, then pump to empty! Maybe try some extra evening... .
I wish I produced ample milk!! I have been I was afraid that my milk supply was drying up.
Could hand express/pump to stimulate supply as needed.

But if baby wants to feed do for your milk supply is to stop the top ups and go to bed with your baby for a day or two.
What happens, usually within 24 - 48 hrs milk supply will have increased..

I want to breastfeed this one but I've always had problems with milk supply and my key was to pump on one ....
I too had to return to work asked this question .
That really increased my milk supply right from the beginning.

Thanks for the info! I'm supply isn't likely low, the first weeks your body just makes plenty of milk to make sure your baby supply.

I used to get out of the shower, and leak everywhere ... .
No I don't think it will lower your supply (although be careful, as it's easy to leak during a lot will my baby have enough milk? If you leak that means you have a lot of milk.
