What is involved in the installation/retention of the bullet guide cover plate on the bottom front of a milled receiver? I cannot find any info on this no matter how hard I search.

As already stated milled means the receiver is machines from a solid piece failing?....
Stamped means that a receiver is that milled is stronger.
Put, milled means the receiver is cut from a solid block of metal.

To my noob eyes it would seem not. The Bulgarian receivers K-VAR once sold all have SLR in the prefix (SLR-100H, etc.). Even though they're not a factory-finished rifle, they remain "on-list," essentially, right?
Just wondering what option(s) we might...

Reweld the original receiver! Agree with both of the above and original milled AKs....
Many of us on the forum have built milled AKs.
It's the receiver that matters not the parts.
You can build a milled rifle if you want.

They used a stamped AK receiver and worked off AK receiver and worked off that....
I think some valment came stamped....But I have only seen milled Galil,s I think it was Red Jacket that made a stamped Galil variant several years back.

The only reason I'm asking is I don't have a milled butt stock in hand to look at...
So, is it feasible to modify a stock from a milled kit to fit a stamped rear trunnion?
If so, what would be involved?

You would need to remove a lot of wood....
The milled the milled one it will be way too short to be comfortable or practical to use.
receiver buttstock has an extension at the front of it that goes inside the stamped receiver.

I do not have a drawing of the correct barrel for the Bulgarian milled AK as both a lathe and mill.
I know the Bulgarian milled AK rifle barrels are just a bit different regarding the lengths compared to the AKM.
