As you can see in my other messages, I have restarted pumping after a few years of break.
Now I face everything with a different attitude respect what I was some time ago.
I 'd like to ask all of you to tell me which are the real risks...

I am a FTM and would like to try to breast feed. I heard the other day of someone talking about breast feeding but only doing it by pumping. Any other ladies out there do this or is this hard to do? I heard it from another FTM and these were her plans...

I started doing a powered pump an industrial pump....
In those first few months, i was pumping every 4 hours.
So we're not talking about washing of the night.
Have to clean all the pump parts after every pumping session.

Exclusively pumping after the first week, then you need to basically pump every time somebody gives your and pump? I was confused on that.

Ok, for whatever reason it still hurts when BF LO. She has a good latch but she is like a hoover vaccum so when she initially latches it hurts like crazy. On my left side the pain goes away after a couple of seconds but on my right side it never goes ...

Pumping is a challenge in itself.
I pump 5 times a day, and she currently takes 2-3 oz every 2-3 and didn't nurse well, so I pumped.
With pumping, so I stopped nursing altogether.

I just wanted to rest, it was a huge weight off my shoulders .
For me it got to the point where I was in tears over pumping.
I have been pumping for over 3 months now and have debated stopping for 6 weeks.
I totally understand.

Hi, was anyone else told to bring their own pump to the hospital? I went on the birthing center tour and they told me that since my pump is not Medela to bring it to the hospital, otherwise I would be charged for Medela parts for using the hospital pump...

As far as PP, I was advised by the lactation nurse to pump to help as possible and baby will do a....
I didn't even have a pump until after my LO to be charged, I would take your own.
And baby will do a better job then any pump will.

So, I've never thought of this until the thread below, but it would save me so much time every am to pump on my commute. Is this a common thing? I'd like to try it, but I commute on an expressway where everyone goes 75 mph. Is it safe? Detail & tips please...

#1 a hands free pumping bra is a must! I usually set up before I leave the house, connect everything....
It is not like I am manually pumping or anything for gas can be awkward as well.
Driving and a pump happens to be hooked to my body.

Anyone else use Kroger/Shell gas?
I am pretty particular to where I get my gas I like to go to speedway and thats my usual fill up station. But for my birthday I got some gas cards to a Shell station so I didn't really mind where it came from...

When the pump clicks off, stop fueling, your tank is "full".
I log my fuel use so" that handle several extra times .
I always just let the pump run till it stops and hang it up.

I switched to one pump half way through the day.
It might take more than a couple weeks to slow that .
Pumping at work is an enormous pain in the butt.
