40cc Husqvarna 142 Milling w/ Homemade Mini-Mill Work's pretty good for a 40cc saw. It's no production mill but to cut the occasional beam it fits the bill.

Just saw this thing on grizzly's site, looks kind of cool. since Ive been seeing people talking about x2 mills lately, i thought id share this as an alternative. looks like it would be more rigid and i like the knee feature.

Mini mill You might have seen this, but if not it looks like a jig you can build in a couple hours or less and never throw another piece of wood into your fireplace. Or shell out and buy this one. It looks like a well designed unit.
