Perhaps I'm out of date, but I recall that all of Opera Mini traffic passes through the Opera servers to be compresses and transmogrified....
Seems like Opera Mini can't process Javascript very well.
I found the difference.

Certain websites opera wont pull up hi, i have been using opera on my mobile for 3 years now and never experienced issues.
(currently on 6.5)
