I love the ambience that is set up here where the intro storm sound effects meet with the guitar and the trance-like guitar lines continue throughout .

I find a lot of modern minimal techno to be very samey and formulaic but when done right it can be really quite nice.

I'm aware that the best option for noise cancelling is to buy myself a pair of noise cancelling headphones...
But is there any software available that would use the pc mic and headphones to block background noise?

There are basically two methods for noise ....
It's not actually noise cancelling but Chatterblocker can help you mask/ignore external sounds.
It's interesting, but has no solution.

You should be able to cache the regex on the server so performance... .
If you want to filter " Noise " or " Stop " Words, I would suggest looking into regluar expressions the noise/stop words in a table, then use the words to build your regex.
