Hope it helped Source(s)....
Lets say you run.
So that means it will take you 20 minutes to run one mile10-13 minutes,
if your slow the minutes will increase depends how fast you run.
About 3 miles per hour, divide 60 by 3=20.

Firstly let me say hello to everyone, as I am a new user in need of advice. (hopefully this thread is in the right place)
As the thread title suggests in one month, I have to run 1.5 miles in under 12 minutes. Easy you may say, but sadly for me it is ...

2 miles under 17min is required at the end of bct to graduate for my age(30)
The pushups and situps are already easy. the 2 mile run under 17minutes needs some work.

So, 7 more push-ups than the Air Force test but you have an entire extra minute to do....
After a bit more weight loss, I would have to do:
74 push-ups in 2 minutes.
That number easy in 2 minutes.

Just my 2 cents to learn these skills so that when you're at mile 55 of your 50 miler because you're lost in the dark at mile 55 of your 50 miler because....
If those go well, run a 50K - then you're in the 50 mile ball park.
Marathons.

At the gym, I measure stuff by doing 1/2 mile on this, 3/4 mile on that, not how many minutes. Could that option be added?

But a mile is always a mile.
And walking, I know how many calories it burns per mile so I just put in the number of minutes to always time myself.

Um, yeah, so the guy who wrote this article is apparently a chiropractor and a Crossfit coach, whatever that means.
Let me clarify Jogging. This is the act of repeatedly running consecutive distances of 2 or more miles at a pace slower than 8 minutes/...

I'm not saying extra attention to it.
I could not maintain an 8 mile minute for more than a half mile.
Starting out and runs at a very slow pace? If a nine minute mile is a sprint to them, is it okay mindset.

I can do probably 6 minute mile right now on a treadmill, and that's really really working myself ...but I can do it !
I am working very slowly for this esp for speed and not letting myself overheat...
