I wasn't on Mirena, but since with hers and my neighbor also had hers removed....
I don't see myself using hormonal BC any time soon .
I stopped taking it when I was 20 and how it works .
I haven't had mirena but I have been on bc since I was 14.

This may be naive: is there any way to have my fertility tested while I have a Mirena inserted?
I am 32 years old, and my partner and I would definitely like to have children in the future. However, it will be about a year or two before I'm really ready...

I had the mirena until it came out on its own a few weeks ago. DH sent me to the pharmacy for Plan B since we absolutely do not want another baby right now, a few days after that I had some light spotting. I am pretty sure that I should have had a period...

I only had very light spoting (only when i wiped) for about 5 days on and off after mirena was removed. Other than that no AF.

So I must be super fertile, lol.

You could deffinitely be pregnant but also the mirena tends to reduce your periods and it takes a couple of months to get back to normal flow. BUT I think you should be able to test any day now.

I had my mirena placed Dec. 5th and not sure this is going to work for me. I never stopped spotting after i gave birth and still have not stopped spotting. I'm almost at the 4mo mark and i'm growing impatient. Not sure i can take much more of this spotting...

I also have a hard time knowing what's about 2ish weeks after the pain... .
I know only time can tell but it's annoying.
My af be this way on mirena.
Prior to mirena i always used to spot about 3-4 days before af would even arrive.
A spotter.
