Had my iud removed 4 days ago. It was a little uncomfortable but nothing like when it was inserted. Now I am looking forward to clearer skin, better moods and getting rid of my uncontrollable hunger:)

It took me 5 months to get pregnant after my Mirena IUD was removed. However my period arrived just a few weeks after removal and was then regular every month after that. Maybe your doctor can prescribe u provera to kick start your period into action....

You could deffinitely be pregnant but also the mirena tends to reduce your periods and it takes a couple of months to get back to normal flow. BUT I think you should be able to test any day now.

Mirena out since feb 11. reg cycles....except it always ends up being six, seven, eight, NINE days past when I expect and always neg hpt. I'm disgusted. I think that thing ruined me.

I am happy to say that after 2 chemo and 1, Grade 3, ER+/PR+, HER2- I had a Mirena IUD and had it removed as soon as I was dx.
Chemotherapy (Lupron, chemo and Avastin), and the Mirena removed.
