I always misheard "barely clearing the roof" from DDIO as "they're man alive.
I know this is not really a misheard lyric be a story behind that lyric.

Took the kids up to their Grans the other day and had Cinderella playing in the car (both my kids are growing up loving Old Skool Rock )
