However, if the client is willing with the client on mode of fund transfer, as well as who pays for the fees.
Then you might have a case to ask for more money to cover the fee's.

Try researching this person and get some I.D in case you actually DO lose your money but at the very least you could still report to the police and retrieve your money.
Not to transfer, but for all we know, it could be a scam.
