After pushing A it says updating stats and thats when it was subtracting money and XP.
Updating stats screen began to load I went from having low money and XP to to having over* 140,000 and went.

Right-click the Money start icon
and select RunAsAdministrator.
Copy sample.mny file to
your Documents folder in Vista.
That may be
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money 2005".
The sample.mny file in your install folder.

And don't need any of the new features available in Windows 7, I'd spend the money on new hardware Windows XP today if you want, but new products that will be released in the coming months may not support XP.

Windows 7? Depending on the license you are probably eligible to upgrade directly from XP to Windows 7.

In later versions of Money the message is a bit more meaningful!

You need a version at least to open a file produced by version N+1 in version N .
Probably, the backup was produced by a version of Money newer
than Money 2001.

If you google for "windows XP software RAID" there are plenty of tutorials on how to enable this features....
Windows XP Pro allow you to define software RAID volumes, but only RAID 0, see this tutorial XP this will require some hacking.
