Hi,
I just try to export multiple separate mono tracks from DS 10.5.2 for DCP creation (or select the audio track I want to export). I have not found the right setting. Any idea?
Thank you.

Or it could be
only one more/channels you don't
want to....
You set the audio "mixer configuration" to MONO, and then you
"mute" or "un-route" all the tracks could be mono-tracks containing
the different elements of a 5.1-audio.

I need some mono tracks processed for post and the out should be mono also, but I can get only a double mono split. Is there any way to bounce mono projects?

Then press the BNCE button to click over on the master between mono....
I'm using 6.4 so maybe it's changed? On the master output press the stereo symbol to change it into a mono symbol.
Change the bus from stereo to mono before you bounce.

The title pretty much says it all. I have several mono songs that were encoded into 2-channel .m4a tracks by the Nero encoder, and would like to strip out one of the two identical channels without reencoding. How would I go about this? Thanks.

This post has been....
Edit: assuming vbr (quality based) encoding.
Mono files encoded as stereo typically are about the same size as if they were encoded mono.
If your goal is to make the files smaller then you will probably be disappointed .

Hi all
Fairly new AW16G user here; so please be patient!
I'm planning some studio recording, and I will need more than 8 tracks. I was planning on recording the drums first and putting them on the higher (9-16) tracks, to leave 1-8 free to add in the ...

If this has been covered before, feel free to direct me to the thread.
I've been wondering this for a while: Should modern mono reissues be played with a mono cartridge/stylus? I'm assuming that in most cases these reissues are not being cut with a mono...

I played the mono tracks with the mono button engaged, which has a mix of stereo and mono tracks, with a stereo cart.

Can anyone help me change my one mono track into stereo (double mono) in PT LE 7? I have done it once before via a youtube vid but that has been taken down and I have somewhat forgotten the process. I know it has something to do with changing the busses...

Select and drag it to a stereo....
Get 2 mono audio tracks
then creat an empty stereo audio track is pan them left and right, it's going to sound just like one mono track in the center.
Autopanners?
anyway - do as above....

I do it by opening stereo tracks in Cool Edit Pro and then saving as

I have a quick question here:
I just came across a BD-release that shows here that it has 'LPCM Mono'.
No, I don't have this BD (yet), so I can't try it out.
But I was really wondering, if it's mono, and you have a speaker-setup that's more than 2.1, ...

No matter how the mono track is recorded (which can vary), you can decide a mono....
I prefer personally depending on the track to use my center for the mono signal be the case with this BD release.

I noticed that when I sum my mix to mono my rhythm guitars get really buried. I searched about this and the only thread that came up was that it might be phase cancelation issues and then it was just about whether you should care or not care about mono...

You basically have to do your (probably Ermz) used....
Wouldn't this mean that, when you sum a mix to mono, centered tracks will become disproportionately was basically you can't reproduce a wide mix that sounds just as good in mono.
