I'm new to mixing dozens of tracks so I'm practicing mixing using Brainworx stem files that have a lot of stereo tracks imported as Left and Right mono tracks. I see that in Reaper I can group tracks for most parameters, but it's probably not the best...

I do it by opening stereo tracks in Cool Edit Pro and then saving as
mp3 mono; any sound editing program should have that capability.
