How can I declare a class variable as floating point in Moose? My (fictional) sample below produces errors for "Real", "Number" etc ... "Str" works but defeats the purpose .. searching/Google doesn't help, since I can't hit the correct search terms......

This makes sense, since Perl really doesn't differentiate (visiblyYou need Num type for a real number: { package Problem; use Moose; has 'number' => ( isa =>number; # => 0.1 /I3az/ Check....
Type, just Num and its subtype Int.
What is the best way to handle a failure in a builder method? For example: package MyObj; use Moose; use IO::File; has => 'file_name' ( is => 'ro', isa => 'Str', required =>1 ); has => 'file_handle' ( is => 'ro', isa => 'IO::File'...

But then again I suppose it makes sense.
Honestly with the ammount of snow and moose strikes I'm not surprised. It does reduce my chances of drawing a moose tag by a third though!! DM400, 401,402,403,406,407,408, 410,412,413 all cancelled http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/static/ho...02-17-2012.pdf...

I came across this track and I believe it is either a good sized deer or a moose. I checked google images, but I couldn't for sure make it out as either one. Anyone have an idea? The track was rather large... I wish I could have gotten a comparison to...

Did anybody read the article from the News-Miner about the guy who bartered some moose meat for some firewood. I'd sure like to know some more details about the situation. The link to the story is: http://www.newsminer.com/pages/full_...20&id=17180541...

I apolagize if this has been beat to death on here. I tried to search for it in previous posts and the results came up pretty slim. I left AK in 09 when I got orders out of there. I did all my hunting with a .280 Remington. I traded that rifle when I ...

I recently installed a module from CPAN and noticed one of its dependencies was common::sense , a module that offers to enable all the warnings you want, and none that you don't. From the module's synopsis: use common::sense; # supposed to be the same...
