How do I nick a hard seed like a morning glory's or a nasturium"s? I am impatient. I want them to come up as fast as possible. Thanks. PS I want to nick, not sandpaper.

Get a nail or other small....
Nicking is a practice of making a small hole in the hard coat of the seeds .
I use a metal nail file and rub the seed on it, just enough to remove the tiniest coating in one spot .
Nasturtiums seeds do need to be scraped a little.

Took ~250 morning glory seeds with a CWE the morning of 29/01/12 at 10:00 AM. A pepper grinder was used to pulverize the seeds prior to CWE. Ginger and two hits of marijuana were consumed for nausea...

This is an unusual size for me - image 12" x 10 ", but I found an acid free matte this size and painted to fit ( must save money you know - i.e overhead down and revenue up ). It's a sunrise up at the lake ( now frozen over ) but memories of great mornings...

What effects occurs of eating morning seeds? Actually we soaked ground seeds in water , filtered and drank it. Someone told me that in case they are treated with fungicides we should not use them.
