Keep at it! bad luck mate, hope some survive reared them can advise but... .
They are pretty bullet proof as caterpillars species and I'm sure you will have a great deal more luck.
Exotics, one species id recommend is the oak silk moth.

All the moths presented here were photographed in Bukidnon Province, Mindanao April 2012. Difficult to find good websites for Philippine moths. I suppose images 1 and 2 show the same species. Leif

The first and the recently published papers describing new species, of which there are many! #10 is Agrotis ipsilon.
I would say that #1 and #2 are two different species.
Many of which are similar-looking.
I'm rearing these for the first time so i thought id do a diary. if you dont know what they are, they are one of the most dramatic uk moths and larvae. they are about a quarter grown and growing fast, feeding on willowherb. pics to follow.

In this species like others the males antenae are bigger....
There *might* be a partial second for locating mates.ive never heard of this organ, have you a link or something morph .
Most uk species have one generation per year.
Emerge sooner.

Nerine I guess the lack-moth which flies at the top of Sallows and although the moth is small, you can see the antennae quite Ocellana which we flushed whilst....
10 species altogether.
From the trap last night - Muslin moth, nfy.
