Strong enough to hold that ESC down with a 1inch, by inch square but i just dont wanna chance it you know? i mean its not cheap to get a mamba max pro and esc, i just to the side of the esc

I have a good working lrp quantum 2 forward only esc with a chubby oversized micro motor with pinion i had it in a micro sct with conversion chassis i went brush less so im slaeing this 20 shipped no trades

Typical motor upgrades for p4des are usually the castle 3800kv or 2400kv 4 poles replace their velineon setups with ....
The motor in the 1/16 scales is 4000kv.
Stock motor is 3500kv.
4700kv may run hot depending on gearing in a p4de .

Motor AMP draw larger than ESC capacity....
ESC AMP capacity larger than motor draw = good.
So you are fine.
Yep you can use any ESC as long as the ESC is rated for at least the amps that the motor will draw..
