I am building one of the standard tricopters that "everybody" makes. I use 10mm alu-tubes and I will have the cables from the ESCs to the motors inside the tubes. 16 AWG, which I normally use, is to thick to fit so I might go for 18 or even 20 AWG.

What size esc and motors are you using? what does the esc have on it? Its Epp 1045 props and rctimer 2836.11 motors, 750 kv.

On your DX 8s Grab Bag of SIX motors and TWO ESC’s mainly in runners, Eflite 40amp(works but heat shrink it....cause i got a bit excited over the 5000mah packs looking for 60a esc ? Still interested in the eflite.

I was thinking of a set up close to yours. i got the r10 and the pro4 3300kv, but i plan on running 3s. i dont have the truck yet so not sure how it will work but im hoping it will be fast

I think the 4000kv motor is a little high according to what ive read for a 3s setup or right run longer and it will be ....
Ended up getting it.
I was in the market for a new esc.
That is the best bashing motor in the 36mm size IMO.

DJI 30A OPTO ESC and BEC/LED work with other motors..? Will the DJI 30A OPTO ESC and DJI BEC/LED work without issues with non DJI motors....and if they do what would happen if you then swap out the NAZA FC for another FC?
Would it still run without issue...

I agree the pmu won't work with othe ....
However, the new 4.01 HW esc's look soThe Opto esc's do not have a built in BEC so if you are installing it with another FC with out.
Should be a good combo.
My f450 with mt2216-900kv motors.

Well yes there is Scorpion motors you could use, you just need to decide how much power you want and then find something compatible with whatever prop and ESC you plan on using,
