I have a pretty nice racing bike but now I want to get a cheap mountain/ commuter bike.
I am buying from bikes direct- should I get a full suspension, hard tail , 29er? I know nothing about mountain bikes and won't be spending much as this will be mostly...

The width of the wheels are different, so a mountain bike would require a large tube than a road bike..

I run a Fox 36 talus fork.
I'm 5'4" and ride a small size bike.
They are still lightweight is an all mountain.
If you have the coin, a carbon all mountain bike can't be beat.
