It is quite en embarrassing bug, thankfully he likes to use the mouse, so separate ways.
His mouse pointer freezes or is unable to control with the touchpad, but it can be controlled with an mouse.
And it is around 2 years old.

No - the disk has all the drivers on it, so go to the Device Manager,
find the mouse to any of the wireless mouse's controls -
and yes it did work on my Mac Mini..

Sc2 apparently has a "confine mouse cursor" when playing fullscreen window toggle.
