So I created a simple menu for a small project I have. When people mouse in and out of the menu on IE6 or IE7 the menu will drop down.. but it will go back up if you move the mouse slowly downwards. Does anyone know how to prevent this behaviour.. it ...

Mouse enter and leave also cover child elements.
Try mouseenter and mouseleave instead of hover.

It's also going to be lighter than a lot of desktop mice, which isn't necessarily a good a comfortable one :) HTH What Microsoft calls....
But not ridiculously tiny like some 'mobile' mice are.

No need to calculate the angle if you're just interested in up\down .
If current y > last y, you're going down.
If current x > last x, you're going right.
0,0 is the top left corner.

I use the Arc Mouse at home and at work -- just fold it up and transport it back and forth .
We leave early in the morning and are driving down. Ry is excited to see the princesses. Mata is excited to play soccer where people "have to pay to watch" grrrr yes we have to pay to watch her play (30$ per person for the weekend) And Shai is just complaining...

I installed Logitech SetPoint and was able.
In my case even though having basic Dell optical mouse.
I am writing a game in Java, and need to have mouse interaction. I was going to use MouseAdapter, but I've looked into it some, and it does not seem to have any means of determining the location of the mouse pointer without a click or action being done...

So you could hide the cursor, or set it to an ... .
But if you look here.
It will give you the location of the mouse within the component that it is attached to.
This will allow you to track mouse movements.
Look at the MouseMotionListener.
