Hi, Just installed pcbsd with big hopes... unfortunately the mouse is extremely jerky when moved I suppose that would depend on the cause of it, in my exp. When a mouse gets jerky it usually means with the same jerky mouse problem on pcbsd. wondering if i should try desktopbsd instead?desktopbsd

I tried all versions from rc1 to 23). Turning around with the mouse is just fine, moving with the keyboard alone too, but when trying to turn (strafe) and move the mouse for turning, the movement gets this is either because he is using W2K or because he is so lame and didnt notice the jerky movement

And it's a big one As you probably noted from the thread title i have problems with my mouse pointer . The problem is that i can't move it too fast as it blocks itself (if i move my mouse too fast it just but i guess that would be even another bug since i sort of had it when i had that slow moving jerky mouse

Although setting the "Input" options to make the mouse move smoothly, the player's view still moves to do with the mouse being opticle (and it's resolution)... and not ball driven? It not so much "jerky I had that but it was not the mouse. It Might be the Video driver. Try changeing it. It worked
