Well there it is. My question is in the title. I just don't understand, because UC is only in the colon . Strange stuff....

But neither of those cause mouth ulcers that I know of.
Crohn'sGuy, I had the mouth ulcers way before I was ever diagnosed or medicated, so and also have Psoriatic Arthritis.

Hey! I know there's been a lot of talk about mouth ulcers, but it's new to me, and I have one on my tongue. I have looked it up, and some information I have found states it's a sign that a flare-up is starting. Is this true?

Hi Amycakes I used to suffer from mouth ulcers for many years causing mouth ulcers and the problem hasn't re-surfaced for me whilst on Pred but a long time ago cause or aggravate mouth....

It has no alcohol in it and helps.
Lets see there is magic mouth wash which numbs your mouth and throat my husband puts it on sponges mouth up to 4x a day with Biotene mouthwash.

The only treatment I have been offered just checking the side effects as i was initially on asacol but my mouth started getting ulcers at older children....

Get to the hospital mate, i have told my story of mouth ulcers before.
I had them bad for two years before will have a solution .
Works out for you! My first symptoms were actually mouth ulcers.
