I copied a VOB from a camcorder disc, content is about an hour long, but in Premiere, GOM Media Player or VLC only recognizes the clip is 12 or 3 seconds long. I tried renaming the file to MPG from VOB with no luck. Is there anything that...

Just use Visual Hub:
Works a treat every time.
It supports SWF for import and has a huge variety of output formats .
If you are talking about small(ish) files, the easiest thing you can do is just use an online service such as Media Convert .

No audio from web cam in movie maker
The audio is fine on the web cam video but when it is put added to a video in movie maker there is only video not audo ont the web cam video.

Be aware that you'll have to manually sync it....
Please let us know if you (mp3, wav, etc.) you can add it to the Movie Maker timeline, on the audio track.
Is that the video uses an audio codec that is incompatible with Movie Maker.
