I like to have homemade muffins or bread on hand, for my kids for breakfast. Usually they have a muffin and yogurt, with juice or milk for breakfast but I am looking for some healthier recipes. Does anyone have soem good recipes or sources?

Hi I'm looking for a good chocolate chip muffin recipe that doesn't make the muffins have that scone texture. so i would like to know if anyone knows of any.

With a muffin, the mixture is more like a batter, whereas with scones agents.

Some of the breakfast muffin recipes are quite simple, while information....
Eat them, chocolate chip, or chocolate orange muffins.
Tea bread recipes can be baked in muffin pans or individual cups instead of a loaf pan.

Another recipe made in a cup! Saw Dr. Oz a couple days ago and he had this recipe on. I tried it and it's actually pretty good...very filling. Not as good as a blueberry muffin but a lot more healthy for you. Here's the recipe in case you'd like to try...

I like the Floral Lace pattern i would never use a muffin pan.
To the loaf pan, because most of my muffin recipes convert to a loaf.

I`m playing with some muffin recipes and some are turning out delicious but kind of flat. What can I change to produce a nice high rounded crown on muffins? Is it a matter of oven temp, or should I play with the amount of baking powder or flour?

After....
muffin tins nearly full
2 - Batter should be thick(spoonable not pourable)
3 - Oven temp should be at 425 to create a burst of steam which will lift the top of the muffin and quickly set the starches and proteins in the muffin.

That's what I actually bought mine for - Oopsies to have to get one! I like the tuna muffins baked in the muffin top pans.
