What muscle groups do you train together? I was talking to my best friend about training, we have both been "at it" for a long time but never train together as we like to train at different times. He was asking how I was going as I'd had a couple of weeks...

Whats everyone's preference?
I've come to realize that my current routine is too much and it's causing me to plateau. My muscles aren't recovering fast enough.
Currently on a bulking phase.
In brief I do 4days/week, Wednesday off.

Switch to isolated....
That normally works out to being at the gym 4-5days/week day .
Once per week for each muscle group.
I don't see the point in doing certain muscle groups twice per.
It's simple and keeps it fresh.

OP, 3 muscles groups is fine, I'd even advocate you consider doing more if you.
That you can't lift as much weight when you then get to working that muscle on its own, as long as you was retarded.

They are called full bofy routines, there are plenty of good ones in the stickies, that are setup much better than your sample one, if you have hit a flat spot in your training the switching up your routine is a good idea, but to bulk you need to take... .

I've heard 5 x 5 is a pretty good routine to use as far as building up quality muscle tissue as to when i started, ....
So after to that case.
Exercises at all, just so long as it pumps blood into the same or assisting muscle groups.

i have always done sperate muscle groups each day,
but im thinking of changing to push and pull days for about 9 weeks to see if i benifit from this.
